October 17th, 2005 will be the release date for Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green, a game that takes place before the events of George A. Romero's latest zombie flick, 'Land of the Dead.'
For anyone who hasn't seen the movie, Fiddler's Green is the fortified city that houses the last remaining humans. Zombies have taken over the rest of the planet so Fiddler's Green is the last safe haven for humans.
In the game, you play as Jack - a man who must battle hordes of zombies to save himself and the remaining human survivors from a rapidly-spreading plague. The game will have an estimated price of $29.99 for Xbox and $19.99 for PC.
